Second Draft® is led by Samhith Mitra — a designer by training who ended up running transformations, because that is where design actually decides something.
Why the name
Every business already has a first draft — the site built in a hurry, the brand that stopped matching the work, the words no one chose on purpose.
The second draft is where intention shows up.
That is the only thing we do: take what exists and make it deliberate.
The person behind it
Samhith Mitra. Designer, by training.
Samhith is a graphic designer — BFA-trained — which shows up in the work as an uncommon amount of care: typography that is actually set, images that are actually chosen, layouts that hold together on every screen.
But a studio of one means the design eye is only the beginning. The same person who hears the problem shapes the strategy, designs the pages, writes the words, wires the systems, and follows the work after launch.
